Need amp advuce

I will be purchasing a set of InfinityKappa 693.5i for the back of my crew cab. My question is ...after looking at all the amps out there what do you guys suggest for a good quality amp to drive them?
One more question, does the RF HU have pre amp outs or do I have to use speaker level imputs on the amp?
Thanx
Dave

Almost 100% sure, factory radios have no preouts. IMO I like the MTX's.
But asking what kind of amp is like asking what kind of sneakers.

Definitely no preamp outs on the RF HU, you will need an LOC. You also have to concern yourself with what to do with the external amp in the RF system, all of the speakers are powered from it - there are no external crossovers anywhere. A number of different possibilites have been covered in great detail on this forum. Do a search on my screen name and you will find most of them. There is a lot reading to be done - have fun!

As to amps: you will not need much to power 6x9s, something in the neighborhood of 30 watts RMS per channel will be more than adequate and sound much better than the stock system.

eakes, thanx for the info! As you can see these speakers are power hungry
Speaker Specifications

Size: 6 x 9
Sensitivity: 90 dB
Frequency Response: 35-22,000 Hz
Recommended RMS Power: 110W
Peak Power Handling: 330W
Impedance: 4 ohms
As to the amp.. Im looking for a good quality reliable amp. Some amps Ive looked at are..
BossChaosC450
JensenPS2130
BossChaosC550
BossRiot345
MTX502
PowerAcousticsA520-2HP

Could you steer me away from the bad ones?
Thanx
Dave

Sorry, but I am not a fan of large amps in autos. In my opinion, anything past 75 watts RMS per channel is a waste of my money. I don't like thump in the music I listen to and definitely do not desire to discover all the rattles in my vehicle that heavy bass produces.

There are others here who do not share my opinion and I am sure they can provide recommendations for quality amps.

Eakes, Im not a fan of thumping bass either thats why Im sticking with 6x9s
I just want a loud and clear system that can crank some Lynard Skynard, Boston, Fleet Wood Mac ect.Ive heard the Infinity speakers are just what I want They will go in boxes under the back seat. I will drive them withe the new amp and use the existing amp to power the rest of the system.
Thanx for any help
Dave
