dash speakers

has anyone modified the dash holes to fit 3.5" speakers ?
is it possable to do ?
i have ads tweeters but i want a little more voice up top to keep the sound from being to screechy up front

youll need some fiberglass and some paint ot match--the stock hole is 2.75" x2.75" most tweets will fill why modify it??

I'm not sure what you need, but I have 3.5 in mine with no problem. I did a little cutting and had no problem. I didn't add fiberglass or anything. I just had to shave the sides to allow the speaker to fit in.

with standard tweeters in your dash whay freq do you cross them over
to where they dont sound too harsh
