New Gauges? (Replacing ORANGE!)

Anyone know of someone who makes a new gauge cluster or dash kit to replace the orange? I am replacing my radio with the DDX7015 soon, so I kind of want like blue, or even white lights in the dash, no more orange! Let me know!

Thanks guys!
Mike

Not sure what Nissan was thinking with the orange interior. I mean, it looks good on the radio (although maybe just a little too peachy) but it looks kinda aged on the gauge cluster. Compared to my fiance's parents 97 maxima (and I mean, really), it just looks bad.

I had a 98 Maxima with the white face guages. I would LOVE to get something like that for the Titan. Anyone?

You would have to cut the LED's supplying the color and manually install the color LED you want. Sodering is required i think. I was also researching this

hatchman - that's the cluster I was thinking of, as well. I agree that would be BA for the Titan.

Maybe someone will make it, or maybe they already do?

Not really any better I'm afraid. By the way, I'm not sure replacing the LEDs would do it. Is anybody positive they're not just using clear LEDs and colored plastic?

Heres' the QX56 cluster (from a Canadian one).

the google ad importintelligence.com doesn't have anything for the Titan, but I bet they will eventually ... I wonder how much it'd cost to get one of those installed.

I think the reason why its orange is that is a look thats in use in alot of nissans new lineup. If you look at the Z all the way up to the Titan the color and even dash appearance is similar. Probably very cost effective this way. Only a guess though.

i think also because orange and red are alot easier on the eye when driving at night especially for long trips.

Yes, it is easy.. That's why aircraft have red light in the ****pits.. :-) But this isn't an airplane.. You still have white lights coming at you, so your eyes will still be irritated, so what's the difference? I think a white, hyper white or even a blue would be sick!
