Part 1 of 3 of my audio system pics.

i'm going to run my X box under the rear seat but for now it's in the middle in front becuase i'm not sure what i'm going to do about subs yet. i'm thinking of 2 alpine type R 10's in a custom box or 1 type X 10. my next step in going to be replacing the mid's and tweeters. the subs and amp are going to be last.

Very cool setup!

Unfortunately, it lets me know that I'm old because I prefer the loud speakers/sub hooked to a big TV in my living room, and I can't imagine sitting in my truck and playing XBox.

yeah, it's not very often you get to play x box because most of the time your driving. it's mostly for the passengers and the dvd player. i also like the x box because it has a 8 gig hard drive so i can load all my mp3's from my home computer and scroll threw the songs on the screen-makes everything easier.

you can load cds onto it and it saves them as either mp3 or wma (not sure) but you can put lots and lots of songs on there. that is a good idea as far as a "jukebox" is concerned.(sp)

wow, that's a smart idea, especially considering how much personal 1 gig mp3 players are right now.

Are you using a shock-mounted laptop HD in the Xbox? If not, it's just a question of time before the current HD dies.

For those who don't know, the Xbox can be easily modded to act as a regular PC. Movies, MP3's, email, GPS navigation, Linux OS, wardriving, OBD II logging, etc are all within fairly easy reach.

I don't know if this relates, But i have been using my laptop in the big rig for over 2 years and have had no failures...Yet. This thing has gone though hell and back and still works great!
Toshiba a-25s307
It is mounted between the seats running my GPS and logbook software.

How'd you get the Dash to look like that?? It looks so clean.. You think If I went to Best Buy and bought a CD deck there, They'd be able to do the same. Make it look as clean as that looks.. because our stock CD deck takes up a lot of room on the console.

I saw this one at Best Buy and Man.. did I want it bad.. http://www.crutchfield.com/ISEO-rgbt...0&I=070XDV8125

that is a replacement bezel. you can buy them from jamie at titanparts247.com. you can tell the replacement bezel b/c of the areas that would normally be cut out for the rear heat/ac for the armada.

thanks for all the info guys. i've only had the xbox in there a few days and so far so good. i haven't had a lot of time to mess with it though. this set up was very nice to install. it took me about 2 hours and i used the old mouting hardware to mount the new decks. it turned out perfect. it's a reallly tight fit with the crossmember in the back though. i was going to get the kenwood ddx7015 but after researching i found this to be a better set up for me. reasons being the ddx doesn't have very good pre-outs and i just didn't like the features of it. also being that if you ever have a problem with it you would be out of tunes. this way if something happens to one of my decks i still have a backup for music and can always upgrade just the deck and keep the lcd. i don't really play too much xbox the only reason for it, is the use of the hard drive and dvd player. thanks again for all the comments.
