I self installed the factory XM radio, and love it!!!

Ordered the parts online from http://www.nissanparts.org (they take paypal!!! - Ask for Dave!!!) and installed it over this past weekend. I have the Rockford Fosgate 6 disk changer, and I used the following two parts:

999U9-WQ000 - XM glass mount antenna
999U9-NV003 - XM radio kit (no antenna)

I actually needed to order some special mounting brackets, (I found this out after I had my dash completely disassembled) but using a plasma cutter, I modified the brackets I had and made it work.

All in all, it really wasn't very difficult, just time consuming. If I would have had the proper brackets, it would have been even easier.

And, if you've never experienced satellite radio, you don't know what you are missing. I travel A LOT, and love XM!!

Later,

NinerGoose

God bless America, and God bless Billy Graham.

What are the part numbers for the brackets needed? Any photos of the glass mount antenna? I'm thinking about doing it.

If you don't have the column shifter, here is a very easy way to install:

The little brackets for this came in the box with the XM receiver.
