I don't know what to think, you could be right. But there is a company that makes em but the one off verision cost like 7000.00 to make. And they made one. On a very popular Titan Made by Troy design.

I like the design, but i dont want to have to drill holes in the roof to run the wiring. The holes will promote rusting and paint peeling.

um usually when you drill a new hole into a cars body you reshoot that area with some clearcoat to prevent those things you just listed

How about just a hood scoop with an array of lights inside of the scoop? Wiring would be much easier. The thing in the back would look better with a big adjustable aluminum spoiler on top. (just kidding). The lights make the truck look like a miners helmet imho and you might have some glare problems through the top of the windshield.

Only depending on the type of light you use and the angle of it. And if it looks like a miners helmet, sign me up for some spelunking
