Mod a Stock NAV to play DVD's?

I was told it is possible to mod a stock Titan NAV system to play DVD movies by simply changing some pin configurations on the NAV DVD unit.

Has any one ever heard of this?
If so where can I get more info?
Or was I feed a line of crap?

Thanks

Im not 100% sure, but I think its impossible to play video on your DVD Navi player. It is possible to wire into your screen but you will need to install another DVD player. Im pretty sure the DVD navi unit's hardware does not support DVD video format.

That is 100% true. I tried to put a DVD in to test that theory and it simply ejected it.

even if somehow you could hack the hardware to play a video there aren't any control buttons (play/stop etc).

Well if you read the whole thing they are still useing the DVD Navi for Navi. They are useing the DVD player in the console (from there fes) for there video source. Yes that can be done (they are taping into there DVD out on there FES DVD player into there Navi screen & putting a switch to change between DVD & Navi), but you CAN NOT use the factory DVD Navi for a DVD player. There is no hardware or software for for it. If you see he is asking how they can turn the motion sence off so they can input there destination with out pulling over. How is the Navi to work with out the DVD disc in it? And you see there all they had to do is put a switch on the motion sence wire so they do not have to pull over to enter a destination. Pretty simple procedure but time consuming.
