Who has best price on Myron & Davis 9" Flip Down Monitor?

I need a DVD player to keep my 19-month old occupied while in the back. Myron & Davis has a new 9" drop down (model #ANS190) that is a direct replacement for the existing drop down compartment. Who has the best prices on Myron & Davis equipment? I appreciate any help you guys (and gals) can give. Thanks!

I would have assumed that most people would be looking at the 7.8" Flip down made specifically for the Titan/Armada/Quest shown here: http://www.myronanddavis.com/product...=106&LineID=12 .

Here are some links to places to purchase the 7.8" one shown above:

I found it in their 2005 Catalogue on page 6. I ran to the local Al & Eds at lunch. The guy called Myron & Davis and found out it will be available in a week or two, and that they are taking orders now for the first shipment. Al & Eds wanted $1650 for the kit installed, which includes monitor, DVD player, 2 pair of headphones, and FM modulator. I was hoping they could tap into the factory 6-disc non-Rockford head unit to avoid the FM modulator, but they don't think they can do it.

The HU can be tapped to hard wire into the factory DVD option. Check the link in my signature for how to. If nothing else tap the AUX jack. I'd avoid the modulator if at all possible.

I'm sure you've seen what they are doing over a CTitan for the 7.8 plus all the goodies for like 650-699 or something like that.

npep,

How does it look and sound? $629 is such a good deal I may just get the 7.8" instead of the 9". Thanks!

Go with the 7.8" my kids love it! The kit comes with everything!

I went with the FM mod kit and it actually sounds pretty good through the speakers. I really wanted to hook it up direct, but I could not find the correct connectors for my Bench seat Titan. My kids listen to the movies through the head sets and I get to listen to my CD or radio. The LCD quality is excellent I have some pics I can send you, but I am not sure if you can really tell anything by them.

Thats what I was talking about!! Do you have to have the Preferred package to be able to install this setup? I have an 05 SE CC with Utility bed. I would like to take advantage of this seal too, but don't have that compartment that the screen goes in. I will probably just have to go with an aftermarket unit (not factory style).

Well, yesterday I went ahead and ordered the 7.8" package from Truckoutfitters (the link above) and the DVD player and FM modulator arrived this morning. I'm waiting for the monitor and headphones to arrive then I'll have everything installed.

I can get the 7.8" wholesale for about $400 but I would not buy it. I had the myron in dash dvd player alone, no monitor and it went out twice. I used this so that I could navigate and watch dvds while driving.
