Where did you get the wire harness

NN03 and NN03R?

Also, since I do NOT have the RF system, do I need the LOC?

Thanks,

If you plan on keeping the Popular Package HU, then, yes, you will need LOCs to connect to an external amp. The Nissan HU uses a balanced output for the speaker output, that is, one line is not ground. A number of amps have a hi-level input but a lot of these use a common line for the speaker input - one line of each of the speaker outputs go to a common point on the amp hi-level input. This is not good when the HU outputs are balanced - output transistors have been know to destroy themselves when connected this way. Therefore, one needs an LOC because it will accept a balanced input.

The connectors are available at a number of places. Most auto audio shops will have them and there are a lot of sources on-line. Do a Google search on the wire harness part number.

Yes, I think so. I used the Scosche connectors, which are apparently in short supply at the moment. Keep in mind that the RF system has an external amplifier. If you are intending to drive speakers using aftermarket amp(s) through the OEM speaker wires, you need to make a bypass harness for the RF amp per eakes' previously posted instructions. Alternatively, you can just pull new speaker wires from your aftermarket amp(s).
