Kinda hard to see it in that photo, but it looks pretty good. It all depends on what look you are going for. I think the wood trim and carbon fiber both look good, but I don't think I'd do it to my truck. On the other hand, I still haven't seen an aluminum trim kit that looked good yet, they all look way too fake.

I love the way it looks. All the chrome getting the heave-ho is definitely on the short list for my truck.

Actually, those do look pretty nice.

Has anybody else seen an 05 with brushed aluminum replacing the silver plastic around the shifter? This, of course, is on the non-bench Titans. I saw one on the lot today but it was locked and I couldn't tell if the plastic around the radio was also this way. I was waiting for an oil change and checking out the 05's. My dealer had about 40 on the lot and no 04's left.

Did you make them or buy them?
I plan on doing some carbon/aluminum dash trim in my Titan. If you made them, are they overlays or replacements?

I made them, and I'll confess, it can be done cheap!
That stuff is just printed vinyl. The picture come out dark but it looks pretty cool, particularly the door pull inserts.

I wanted to see if anyone could tell it was fake before I mentioned it.
I love the look of carbon fiber, but I don't care for that other kit pictured above. I find it very garish. I'm going to stick to just doing some small trim bits on the door, switches and center console. No dash covering.
I'll take more pics if anyone is insterested.

I agree, the pic above looks like crap. Since the pieces overlay and leave a bit showing around the edges, it makes them look like pieces of plastic glued to the dash rather than a CF dash. Would look much better had the pieces been replaced with CF or even covered the entire part with CF.

Even though they are fake, yours look good. I can give you some tips if you want to do real CF though.

I'd definitely like the tips on the real carbon fiber! Since I like the look of the fake stuff, I'm thinking of getting some of the carbon fiber sheet and doing what I have here for real... Window switches, door pulls, possibly the lock bezels and a little bit on the center console (I have the bench, so it's a small area).
