Yes, and the steering wheel controls will work with the factory XM also. The display is, unfortunately truncated. So, for example, the entire artist name may not show up if it is long.
Factory XM has the advantage of integration with display & controls.
Other aftermarket XM receivers have better displays in the unit itself and also a lower price. Those can be connected through the AUX jack, but won't use the NAV display, and won't use the steering wheel controls. There has been discussion about splicing into the factory NBUS harness with an aftermarket XM receiver, but I don't recall any posts where anyone actually did that with success. Also, I have not seen any adapters that would enable you to plug an aftermarket XM receiver into Nissan's NBUS harness. Also, I don't know whether there is something unique to Nissan's XM receiver (Clarion) with respect to interface with the Nissan head unit (i.e. firmware) that would preclude interface with other brands of XM receivers through the NBUS harness.
