Infiniti Center Console Arm Rest Installed (pics)

Yep, my Infiniti swap is complete, only took me 5 minutes. Now my Titan is 0.00001% Infiniti. I've installed the leather center console lid/arm rest from an Infiniti QX56. I'm really pleased with the way this turned out, kinda makes the truck look even more refined. I got the idea from some guys over at an Armada forum. I never really used the tray on the center storage box, and it got nicked and scratched easily. This gives me another place to put my arm. I bought it from http://www.infiniti-parts.com

What exactly would you like to see? It's pretty plain, just a leather lid. The plastic on the inside is dark grey vs the light grey of the Titan. The little tissue box holder is also deaper than that of the Titan.

edit: added more photos

Sammy,

I've tried to find that part on infiniti-parts.com but didn't have any luck. Do you have a part number or any search suggestions to help find it? Thanks.

If you search under the collision catalog for the QX56 you'll see the second link on the left column is labeled "Console" Then follow the sub links down in this order:

Console-->Center Console-->Lid-->Graphite

Hi Sammy,
Hate to keep grilling you with questions...BUT....
It's a little hard to tell from the pictures but it looks to me like you have the graphite Leather. In your opinion, do you think it would look OK with the steel leather? The steel interior has a combination of light & dark leather and I'm wondering if the new center console lid will be a close match to the darker leather on my seats...Thanks again..

I have the graphite/titanium interior. I think this lid would be too dark for your material, but I guess it depends on how anal you are. I've only seen the steel interior on the '04's with the sand/steel combo and I noticed it was a good bit lighter than the graphite/titanium.

BTW, I added more images to the top.

Thanks for all the help. After examining you newly posted pics it looks like the graphite lid is too dark for my interior. Got my hopes up for nothing...Oh well... maybe the next model year of the QX56 will have a lighter "steel" interior option and I can get one then...

Nice Sammy!

I really like the look of that. I am a little broad in the shoulders, and my arms never seem to land in the right place on the arm rests, I find myself leaning on the center console hard plastic. I would really like that in my truck!

Nice job!

Least I know I'm good for something. I think it really makes the interior look a lot more refined now with less plastic. I prefered the darker plastic anyways, I kinda wish the whole interior matched the darker grey like on the doors.

I just wish that the top areas of the main console and over the gauges were the same material as the top part of the dash, that heavy duty plastic instead of that cheap feeling stuff.
