That's different, for one thing, that wood(pun intended) be on the outside...

I bet we're from different generations...

My wife was in the habit of putting her purse and whatever other crap she had on the shallow recessed lid (all of which would end up sliding off during accel., braking or any abrupt turns). Now she doesn't put anything on the console lid.

To sum it up, I have a comfortable additional armrest, no more stuff sliding around, and in my opinion, it makes the interior that much nicer looking.

I think if you saw it in person, you might like it....
I have trying to get additional info on this mod...

1. Where did you get it, and how much? Dealership?
2. I have the graphite interior like you, does it match?

I know this is an old thread, but I am new here, and your help would be appreciated. Thanks-

Re: infiniti qx interior swap?

Nevermind, I found your other post about it, and placed an order for the part. Thanks for the info.

Re: infiniti qx interior swap?

I wonder if it's possible to add the captains to the rear. This would leave some nice airspace in between the rear seats for goodies.

They should offer that as a factory option, like the F-250 with the King Ranch package.

The Armada's have an option for 2nd row captains chairs (Journey Package) so I don't see why it wouldn't work in the Titan.

The floorpan is totally different, your going to have to drill it. Sure it can work. But doubt you are going to be able to recline em. Or you will have to sacrifice leg room. What did you have in mind for inbetween the seats.

Sounds cool. But I like being able to carry three passengers back there.

Re: infiniti qx interior swap?

I just got my lid in this past friday, and it looks like i'm going to have to get it recovered, because it is was too dark for my color grey. I ordered the graphite one, but this thing seems just a few shades away from being black....

You sure you don't have the steel interior? The Infiniti graphite is a perfect match to the Nissan, well at least in '04 it was.

I have an 06, and my leather isn't factory, well it is from classic soft trim, and i had it added when i bought the truck, and it matches the leather wrapper shifter and steering wheel pretty much perfectly. It was added through the dealer, and it is called grey, but, this 06 lid i ordered is no where near close to being the same color grey. I wonder if i should hassel with exchanging for an 2004 or 2005 lid or just have it recovered? any ideas?

Re: infiniti qx interior swap?

Nissan hasn't changed the color from the 04's. Looks like you will either have to live with it or have it recovered. Bummer

I was refering to maybe a change in the Infiniti leather, but I also doubt that. Just sounds like his aftermarket leather isn't an exact match to Nissan graphite. Someone else here had a steel interior and had their QX lid recovered to match.
