well all know there is the qx front end swap done by Montoya... looks great, but i was wondering if anyone did, or thought of swaping in parts from the interior of the qx to the titan, like the dash ect

Someone here or at CT swapped the emblems on the rear and on the grill. I need to see a picture of his grill. Anyone remember who that was?? Someone I know said "RICE!!" but I may try it anyway, I like the wayt the Infiniti symbol looks better. I also thought about the arm rest too, but I need to do something different. The console arm rest is way too low for me, not sure how I am going to remedy that and keep it looking tasteful.
I have the Infinti QX56 padded leather center console lid instead of our plastic lid with the rubber mat....

i would just wanna swap the gauge cluster... the qx's looks pretty cool
That does look cool, but what about those of use with Big Tow packages? I only see 4 main guages. I'm guessing voltage and oil pressure are just lights that come on if there is an issue in the QX. Would be cool if it had the titan's big tow guages as lights too...
I'd halfway look into that if I wasnt trying to have mine bought back...
If I get another Titan, I might have to check into it...
Isn't that QX console lid way too low to be of any use? The little QX lid is so small and dinky it removes the only practicality the original Titan lid had with it's broad surface for mini table and slide top.
Please explain your reason.

I have the QX56 console lid and it's great. I've found that sometimes the flip down armrest is too close to my body. The new lid is padded and is perfect to rest my arm on.
My original plast lid was uncomfortable as an armrest. As far as practicality, mine was not very useful. My wife was in the habit of putting her purse and whatever other crap she had on the shallow recessed lid (all of which would end up sliding off during accel., braking or any abrupt turns). Now she doesn't put anything on the console lid.
To sum it up, I have a comfortable additional armrest, no more stuff sliding around, and in my opinion, it makes the interior that much nicer looking.
I think if you saw it in person, you might like it....
I just like all of the wood on the QX. The trim kits that are out for the Titan look too "stick on" for me.
I agree. In addition to the Titan we have a QX56. The "wood" in the QX really dresses up the interior without overdoing it or having the "stick on look" like you said...
I have seen the brushed aluminum does not look stuck on at all. Additionally, when I sit in an MB or BMW, the 'real wood' looks like very plastic to me so the stick on statement doesn't really fly. All finishes today are stick on regardless of whether the factory stuck it or you stick it. (funny sounding sentence!).
The only exception are the wood steering wheels in MB, Lexus, BMW, Rover, etc.
