Seatbelt Rattle ???

I need some advice...Both the driver and passenger side seatbelts on my new KC rattle. When the stereo is on,when I hit a bump etc. I believe the rattle is in the seatbelt height adjuster...If I hold it,it goes away. But its annoying because its right by my ear! Any one experienced this or have any solutions. Thanks in advance!

i have a seatbelt rattle problem in my crew cab but only in the rear. it's when my passengers use the seatbelts and do not tuck them back behind the seats correctly. it ends up that the metal part is facing outwards and hits against the pillar during bumps. i just make sure to tuck it back behind the seat when i make my next stop. i have not had a problem with the seatbelt adjuster causing a rattle.

I had the same problem with my 05' KC. I was sure it was the height adjusters. It took two trips to the dealer (first time they "couldn't reproduce the problem") but they finally fixed it. They told me that it wasn't the height adjusters but the wiring behind them. The secured the wiring and everything works great now. No rattles or vibrations at all. (at least from the door pillar)

I definitely have that same problem with my '05 KC. Did you ever get it resolved?

Thanks for the reply BLoch. Man that sounds crazy...Wiring Rattle? Hopefully that will be it and they can fix it.
Usulsuspct- Still havent gotten it resolved. I tried pushing some sound dampener material in height adjuster but it only solved it temporarily and I think I may have maid it worse. So looks like I'm headed to the dealership. I will make a post as soon as I get some resolution.

rattle

Guys-

Is the sound a rattle or a squeak? I have this Annoying squeaking sound that I think is the pillar where the drivers’ seat belt is. Mine sounds like a rubber on rubber squeak. Is that what you guys are hearing? At first I thought maybe my rear window was making all of the noise, but I think it is in the pillar.
Thanks,
Eric

It's more of a vibration. When you turn the stereo up very loud it vibrates with the base. It's not a squeak. I haven't heard any squeak for the door pillar so I can't help you. Sorry

P.S. The passenger side that was fixed has started to make this noise again. The drivers side is still perfect. I've got to take it back to the dealer in the next week or so for some other issues. I'll make them give it another try and see what happens.
