Thumbs up Perfect New Leather Seat Color Match (Bronze)

If you have thought about adding leather seats to your Titan you might want to take notice. There is a new leather color option now available that has gotten me excited.

I have been researcing the options for the past several week for replacing my cloth seats in my 2004 SE Titan. The various color swatches from Katzkin, autoleather.com and leatherseats.com were close but not quite the color I wanted.

My bench seat interior is graphite/titanium but the graphite and dark graphite colors from the various aftermarket leather suppliers just weren't a great color fit. The Titan dash, door, center bench console are a much different color than the graphite leather colors that are/were offered.

On Saturday, 10/1, I received a new leather swatch from leatherseats.com that is call "Bronze" and the color was specifically manufactured to match the 2004 Titan Graphite/Titanium interiors and the color is a dead-on match. The leather color is dark like I want and is a color that I think will excite if you're looking for replacement leather seat covers.

You will not yet find the color on the leatherseats.com website as the new bronze color is just now available. If interested you might want to contact Eric in sales who I have been in contact with by e-mail.

Check it out!

Log onto their website www.leatherseats.com and on the left side of the page look for "Contact Us" and use the option for "Sales" and leave your e-mail message or directly at sales@leatherseats.com. You might want to request a sample swatch of the new bronze color.

Otherwise the phone number for Eric is 1-866-639-7328 ext 104.

I haven't bought yet but it still may happen. A guy named Eric from www.leatherseats.com sent me a sample swatch last year that had written in ball point pen the name "Bronze" on it. The sample was made of vinyl and it matched exactly the color on the console lid on my bench seats. I later phoned both Katzkin and autoleathers.com (the online Katzkin retailer) to inquire about the Bronze color and they didn't know anything about the Bronze color. Since Katzkin manufactures the Titan aftermarket leathers for leatherseats.com, I thought it odd that neither autoleathers.com or Katzkin would not know anything about the bronze color.

Later, I requested a sample swatch of "Dark Brown" from leatherseats.com. This time the sample was leather and the Dark Brown was a perfect color match to the vinyl swatch that was called Bronze. In my opinion the Dark Brown is a far better color match than the Graphite and Dark Graphite that people are buying for the Graphite/Titanium interiors. I could be wrong but I don't believe there was ever a color called Bronze and Eric was passing off the Dark Brown color as Bronze. Eric told me the the Bronze was a new color that was made especially for the Titan but I now have my doubts.

In case anyone is interested, there is a CT member who is a Katzkin dealer who is offering Katzkin leather interiors for $582. I'm considering making a purchase there on CT.
