I've had no issues with the wheel or seats so far--over 20,000 miles now.

Sorry. I just had a image of the steering wheel covered in shaving cream lather and you are complaining about it!

But seriously: I have the top part of the steering wheel the is wearing a little premature. But I think it may be my habbit of putting hand sanitizer on my hands when I am done pumping the gas and then driving. (imagine all the things people do while they hold that handle in your hands, pick their nose, scratch their crotch, pick their butt, sneeze etc. etc. etc.)

The top of my steering wheel (where I hold the wheel) is doing this also. I just turned 20,000 miles.

Re: leather wheel...

Unfortunately most auto leather is painted today. In an expensive auto, the leather is tanned and dyed. The leather in say a Q45 is very high quality and very hard to damage. The leather in the titan is low quality and painted.
