Is SE Titan Pre-Wired???

I was wondering if SE Titan comes pre-wired for stock Navigation and DVD Player?????
The ones that come in LE models!!

NAV and DVD aren't standard on LE's, so I wouldn't think that it's pre-wired. I've had the interior completely out of my truck (LE) and never saw any wiring/harnesses for the DVD/NAV. I could be wrong, but that's all I know.

I seem to remember reading in one of those dealer brochures, that if you have the crew cab and the overhead console thing, but no DVD, that it comes pre-wired for the DVD.

I think one of the members fitted one of the aftermarket DVD players and screens, and did see the wires in the overhead, but didn't use them to wire his video signal. Can't find that thread now....

Found it:

He didn't actually use the standard wiring in the overhead, but ran his own video cable. As far as I can see, the SE CC Titans with the captain's chairs (NOT the bench), will have DVD wiring in the console and probably also in overhead.

so i press the button and it shows NO DVD, so it means i can install the factory DVD

now what about the NAV Unit, are there wires in aconsole as well????
a long time ago someone wrote that they are!!!

There is no NAV prewire. It's hit and miss if you will have the dvd prewire. All the "no dvd" means is that your HU has a dvd input. check my how-to linked in my signature to find out if you have the audio prewire. If you don't it's not a huge deal to add wires to the empty spots in the harness attached to the HU. You can buy wires with pins already on them form compusa etc that can be made to fit the harness.

I doubt you will have a video prewire as thats a lot of wasted wire for them to install since they don't offer "after purchase OEM DVD".

If the audio connector is there at the front of the console (as it is in the picture you posted), can I then buy the rest of the harness to go to the DVD player? I understand you fabbed your own wiring, and I could too; just want to know if buying the remaining wiring from Nissan is an option?

Yes for the audio for sure. I don't know about the video though as I have never traced those wires. If you click in the far upper corner of the page I have linked (the how-to) you can see the entire thread. In there I have the video wiring diagram. Looks like there is 3 sub harnesses between the dash harness and monitor. actually here is the diagram

Maybe if you get the first sub harness it will have the video wires in it then you can just make your own cable to get to the monitor...maybe cutting the ends of an s-video cable or some data type cable with multiple wires in it Radio Shack has something I bet, and use the wires in there. I'd use something heavier for the power...16ga?
