Nokia Handsfree Car Kit
I just ordered the hands free kit for my Nokia 6102, does anyone know where to tap the non-RF 6disc for the mute feature? My phone does not utilize bluetooth, so the parrot is out for me. Thanks in advance for your help.

you would be better off getting a new phone and the motorola (or parrot) bluetooths. A cell phone doesn't last long enough to justify a non-standard system.
But to answer your question, if you have the RF then use a relay and have the wire disconnect the amp on wire for the RF amp. If you don't have the RF then just use a relay to cut the switched power to the unit. |

thanks Baseballfanz. I am going to take a heads up from another member, and use the thumb mounted mute switch on the steering wheel. I am sure if you have the steering wheel controls you also have it. "On/Off" hahaha
