Want to upgrade

Hi folks. I have an '05 Titan LE and the only options that I didn't get on my truck was the navigation and the DVD player.

Any alternatives to navigation? Any approx cost? What about the stock type DVD player?

There are plenty of aftermaket navs you can do.. Many for under $1000. They would replace your RF headunit and sit in the spot where your radio is now.

Check my pics gallery. I added a CPU under the pass. seat with a monitor on the dash that includes DVD and also navigation via MircoSoft streets & trips w/GPS. Works pretty well and kids can play games when not using maps or DVD. Also works great for playing all my music stored on the CPU through the AUX option.

Go to his name by his post. There is a drop down menu and the last one is the gallery if I remember correctly. Hope this helps.

i Had my aftermarket nav installed a few years ago for my 04. It is a pioneer AVIC-80 with 6.5" touchscreen. I also use it for DVD and rear cam. It sits on the tray above the RF radio. I post pics soon.

About how much did all that run, sounds like what I'd like to do eventually. I'm looking at a MAC Mini, or a HP jiiv unit for good speed. A 8.5" or 10" Touchscreen would be ideal. (My eyesight is starting to change at 44, just got my first reading glasses. Nothing too bad though) So don't want a 7" screen. I'm currently using a 12.1" Laptop. Like doing my own work, mounting the larger screen is main challenge.

I never ended up getting any nav yet. I'm trying to get my car ready for the race season ... lots of upgrades for safety stuff
