Installed Coverkings! Pics are so-so...

I put these on a few weeks ago and have tried and tried to take good pics, but here they are anyway. These things fit good except the armrest covers. Don't mind that sub box sticking out, that's being remedied in short order. I would reccomend these covers to anyone.

Re: Installed Coverkings! Pics are so-so...

Will these fit the King Cab with Captains chairs? Will they also fit the back seats of a King Cab? How much and where did you get these?

How long did it take to install them? Any cutting or modifications done, or did they just slip right on and were tied on?

Re: Installed Coverkings! Pics are so-so...

Thanks for the props Sickwhip!!...triad, I'm not sure if they have one that will fit the king cab rear, but I will check for ya. I work at a parts store and I special ordered them. Took 2 weeks 'cause they had to make them. They didn't "slip" on, but went on with relative ease. The hardest part was the little hook fastener on the front seats. Approx. install time? about 2 hours.

Re: Installed Coverkings! Pics are so-so...

I just ordered these yesterday through Costco.com. $165 per row. I got the full set for my CC with shipping came out to $350.
They had all kinds of options to choose from including the CC and KC rear seats.

If you aren't a Costco member, it might be worth your while to get a membership to save you some scratch on the covers. CDub, I'm sure you got a good deal working for a parts store but the online discount prices were still over $200 per row.

My price through costco.com makes the Wet Okoles look like a total rip-off!

Re: Installed Coverkings! Pics are so-so...

Can anyone comment on how they think these covers would hold up against the nails on a golden retreiver??

My aunt has wanted covers for her QX56, and her dog's nails are scratching up the seats alot

thanks!

Re: Installed Coverkings! Pics are so-so...

I don't know how they would hold up to a Golden but the main reason I got these was because the driver's seat is starting to show signs of wear after less than a year and 37k miles.
I also got these to contend with my puppy who has been crated while driving but on a long road trip, He's getting bigger by the day and I'd like to give him some room to move around and I don't want him tearing up the upholstery.
I figure that these will hold up pretty decently plus contain any accidents that a puppy might have in a car with minimal leakage through to the seats.

He is a mini-schnauzer, a far cry from a Golden or a Lab.

Re: Installed Coverkings! Pics are so-so...

those is nice...very very tempting but I need something that will help my gas mileage first. I can handle the stains on the seats a lil longer

Re: Installed Coverkings! Pics are so-so...

I'll let you know what I think of them this weekend.
I placed the order on the 6th, covers were shipped on the 12th and I will have them on the 16th. Not to shabby for custom covers.
Plus, if they turn out to be something that I don't like, then I'll take them back to Costco and get ALL my money back!

Re: Installed Coverkings! Pics are so-so...

got them yesterday and put them in today (wife says its a new record for me)
They were a little bit of a pain to install. But after they were in and I got them tight, they look and feel good. The dog loves the back seat too!

Found a couple little things that didn't seem right...
for instance the back seat (large one) had a seat belt hole where there wasn't a seat belt
also, the armrest/cupholder cover for the back seat is bulky and makes it bulge
I feel that the headrest covers could have been a little better done but then again, would they slip over them if they were different?
Also, the front seat bottoms have a across strap but I couldn't find an open area on the driver's side front to route them through

All in all, I like them. They will allow me to have the dog travel in the back seat without worry of him tearing or scratching at the upholstry. The colors are a nice match (black/charcoal) and for about an hour and half of my time, they seem like a good deal.
