Hey guys/girls,
Do any of you have any good dash board mat suggestions? Some fit great and others just lay on top or slide all over the place. Let me know if you have one and if you are satisfied. Of course what brand and where you got it helps too.
I was afraid that would be the response when I first saw your post. I like them, but I don't. Was studying them just 3 or 4 nights ago on the web, wanted to get it. If they were made to look like an OEM dash, then maybe, it's like a bad toupee.

I know. They never really look that great. I kind of want to get one because I park in an alley and the dash gets real dusty. I want one that has been molded to fit the dash but is carpet. I found a molded one that is plastic and is supposed to with stand high heat. But I am thinking about getting one to block the dust and molded plastic will still get dusty.

Just lay out a row of sod on your dash...will look better and gives the truck a nice fresh lawn smell. But please do us all a favor when you put the dash mat in...take the Titan logo off your truck
Hey Bass, check where those responses are from. I see their point since they probably never had a dash split from 180 degree in-cab temps. Mats may not be pretty, but they are the best protection in our climates.
You asked for suggestions so here you go:
Go with dark colors to last in the sun and absorb glare.
I got 2 wall mirror mounts(clear plastic) from a hdwr store and put them in between the ribs of the windshield vents, on the angle up towards the w/s,leaving a gap between the mirror mounts and w/s. Then I tucked the mat over the mounts so that it would not slide, and I didn't ruin my dash using the velcro that came with the mat.
Hope that helps.
Pretty shure it gets hot here in St George, UT (up to a buck 18 last summer)....worried about your dash cracking from the heat....get your windows tinted. That's what I do

I had an UltiMat (made by Dashmat) on my F350. It fit like a glove and
didn't need any velcro to hold it in place. The color match was near perfect also. A dashmat not only helps preserve the dash but also helps keep the film off of the inside of your windshield. They don't make an UltiMat for the Titan so I ordered a regular DashMat. I sent it back. The quality/fit and finish difference was night and day. If you find a good one, let me know. I get tired of dusting my dash all of the time.

Window tint, check. W/s sun deflector, check. Have seen dashs split regardless. I was just trying to help.

It's illegal for the front three windows to be tinted in Cali. Besides I want it to hide dust. I'm not worried about cracking.
