I have an 05 LE KC with leather and the bench seat. I have just come to find out the heated seats were not availible in this configuration, though I do have the blanks where the switches would be..
After doing some searches, I have not seen any previous posts on adding heat to these seats.
Is this a posibility or am I destined to have a cold butt all winter?
Thanks in advance for your feedback guys and girls...
Check with Pi3yeargrad. I think he put heaters in his seats. Maybe it was massagers. I can't remember. I know he had the captain's chairs, too, but installation would most likely be similar.

I just googled "heated seats" and the first website that came up was a forum blog with a whole bunch of websites and aftermarket seat heaters & massagers. Check it out:

WELL, for anyone else interested, heres the PM I replied...
"WELL...I got factory heated seats...but I did install massagers into the seats and from what I can tell u I wouldnt see it being too hard to add ur own... I have added heated and massage seats in a few other cars after my friends saw my work and it isnt too hard... the covers on the seats at very easy to take off starting from a plastic clip that just like slides in to lock... from there u can pull off the back and u can see from there as well how take everything else off... I dont know exactly what ur wondering or wanting to know but it shoudlnt be too hard... buy a heated cushion like a walmart and take it apart and use their stuff OR buy a real kit....either way itll work though... the walmart way though ull have to fab well like an aftermarket switch etc, well depending on what ur looking for..."
Theres a thread I posted on the massage seats...somewhere here... if someone can post or Ill look for it... Give me a while, cuz Im at work
im going to be installing the heated seats next month...its very easy to do. ill have a write up for that too...as well as my power window/power door lock write up and my alarm/remote start write up too...just keep checkin back the next couple of days
