has anyone tried going to the dealer and complaint about it........ mine is an 06 cc le with less than 7000 miles and i remember it doing since day one

Best five cents I ever spent! I have done over 1200 miles since I put the nickel in my dash and not a peep from it! Thank you very much for this tip!

Now I will pull the dash and fix it proper. I'm too anal to not notice a nickel on my dash

I have the same problem on my 06 with 5700 miles. But it only happens when it's really cold. It's not an all the time thing.

Does any body here expierence like a rattling? On My 06 it sounds like there is something loose inside the dash, perhaps someone tryed th nickel thing and it feel in. If you knock on the dash where the center speaker would be and above the gauges it defenetly sounds like some thing is in there... I guess I will just have to take it apart.

haha, mine always rattled where the center speaker is, drove me nuts!! I would smack it and it would go away for about 5 min then come back. Last time i hit it alittle too hard and smashed the grill into 3 pieces! Problem Fixed! Well, kinda, now the grill is broken but i will take it that way all day rather than the rattle.
