I have an '05 SE Crew Cab and the dash, more to the point, the instrument cluster arc of the dash, is starting to "squeak" more frequently. It sounds like styrofoam rubbing against something. My truck has 15,000 miles on it and driven on good roads. The squeaking is quite suprising and annoying since the Titan is very solid. Anybody having the same issue? Any suggested fix? I haven't had the time to dig into it all that much.

Wow... I'm having the same issue... It took me forever to figure out where it was coming from in the beginning b/c it wouldn't last very long... Then one day it was doing it and I pushed up against the clear plastic in front of the gauges and it stoped. It did it again a couple days later... My guess is when the truck heats up in the sun the glue or whatever it is looses some of it's stickiness and causes the squeaking noise... It hasn't done it in about a week now but that's b/c it's been about 40 degrees and hasn't been in the sun...
This is only a guess... but to answer your question... Yes I am having the same issue and if it starts happening again it's going to the dealer... Oh forgot to mention mine is an 06 CC SE with 8,096 miles on it... LOL just happened to look at the odometer b4 coming into work this morning.
Had the same problem. Here's the best cure! (seriously)
Push up on the plastic top center and push a nickle in the gap, works like a charm, takes 3 seconds and of course, only costs a nickel

The plastic top center behind the radio? Near the windshield glass?
Just trying to be precise so I know what to do. I was going to add foam myself...just need to know where...

Re: Dash Squeak
Mine does the same thing...I just turn up the stereo until the noise goes away.

The platic covering the dials, this sounds dumb doesn't it but just try to touch the area where 70mph is. You will obviously hit plastic, run your finger up until you hit the edge. If you just push hard on that when driving you will notice the squeek has gone... so, just wedge a coint or even 2 there and it will be gone forever That's all I did, cheesy but works like a charm.

I gave that a try today... so far so good. This weekend I'm heading for Las Vegas with my trailer. I usually hear the noise then. Hope this works and thanks for the tip!
I have the same issue with my 06' CC. It is driving me insane. I need to try the nickel idea (plenty of change in the cup holder ). No time for the shop.
The squeak comes from the 4 metal clips that hold the the gauge cluster in the dash. To solve the issue, take your dash apart, remove the gauge cluster, put some felt on the metal clips then reinstall. I did this last week and not it doesnt even make a peep. Hope this helps, I used to be an installer so I had the whole dash apart in 10 minutes, just take your time and be careful. Titan interior is known to scratch easily.
