Dash Disassembly

Anyone know how or have pics on how to take apart the dash assembly above the radio? I can get the radio faceplate assembly off but not the rest. I have a rattle I need to fix.

Re: Dash Disassembly

That kind of helps. I don't have the navigation system. I am trying to remove the tray above the radio.

Re: Dash Disassembly

theres more to it then you see on that pic. You have to remove the glove box, the dash piece that holds the glove box, the lower part of the knee panel under the stearing wheel, the you pull out the center peice--this is one whole piece. All the wires are connected to the center peice so be careful. I think there is a total of 10 screws that you have to remove

You have to do all that to remove the tray above the radio?

The tray above the radio is part of the whole surround. It's glue in, but like me I just took the radio bezel off and pried the tray up and off from it. Once done I just use epoxy glue to put it back.

So the tray above the radio is glued in? Hmmmm... I though it would be a snap in like the rest of the parts. Oh well... I'll see if I can fix the rattle without removing it.
