Re: iPod Integration install instructions

rvandam:
You were only one step away from the instructions you are looking for actually.

Go here:
courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CP&Product_Cod e=999U7-IPDNOST

Then scroll to the bottom - you can download the install instructions in .pdf form from a link right there.

(and thanks; I didn't realize you could buy this kit separate - this is great)

and redrum94 - I highly recommend staying away from the FM transmitters like the iTrip. If you're not that into audio quality, then it's ok, but otherwise, hook it up direct through the Aux input port right there in the front. Like someone else said, just grab a $6 3.5mm stereo cable and put the deck on AUX; it'll work fine.

Also, what part of Atlanta are you in? I'm in the South Forsyth Area and would like to get some of us Titan owners togther sometime.
I just moved from Villa Rica to Stone Mountain and would be happy to be apart of a Titan get-together for the Atlanta area.

Re: iPod Integration install instructions

The ipod intergration kit from the dealer is so easy to install. Its a box and one cable. All you do is plug a wiring harness (male plug) that you find under the drivers dash, next to the steering colum and plug it into the box. Then take the included cable whichs plugs into the other port (of the box) and plug it into your ipod. The cable is 6ft or so, so you can run it to your center console as I did. Super easy and you still have sterring wheel control (limited tho)

Re: iPod Integration install instructions

My AUX jack didn't work either. I must have been doing something wrong. I tried several times but just couldn't get it to work. Can anyone offer some help?

Re: iPod Integration install instructions

Can anyone scan/email me a copy of

Quick Reference Card
Owners Manual
Service Info Insert
Critical Installation Info

None of these were left .. when the dealer installed the iPod interface in my Armada.

Re: iPod Integration install instructions

Where is the cheapest place to get the interface cable? Is the dealer the only place right now? I think $150-200 is outrageous.

Thanks,

J

Re: iPod Integration install instructions

I installed mine after making a purchase from a Nissan Dealer. Easy installation and I connected the main cable to the male connector located in the steering wheel column. You really can't sort music or select specifics from the steering wheel controls but from the radio console buttons. As mentioned in another thread the wheel controls are limited. I put mine in the glove box and its out of site. Overall satisified and a lot better than the auxillary jack.

Re: iPod Integration install instructions

For the suggestion of the radio adapter: our aux jack is a billion times better than that option. I can't believe that this technology wasn't in all cars for the last 20 years... there's an aux jack on my 15 year old boom box. The radio adapter sound is horrendous, and I'm not even an audiophile.

How do you turn on your ipod when it's in the glove compartment? How do you turn it off? How do you advance songs? How do you select AUX with the steering wheel?

Re: iPod Integration install instructions

Jerrygfd,

Did you remove the dash and glove box to install it, if so how long did that take and was it hard?
