iPod Integration install instructions

Does anyone here have the iPod integration kit installation instructions? They didn't come with the kit.

Also, have any of you installed the iPod in the center console bin, instead of the glove compartment?

Thanks.

Re: iPod Integration install instructions

I have the detailed instructions from Nissans tech site; however they are printed and not in an electronic form. the only way I could get them to you would be to fax them or mail you a copy on Monday the 18th. I'll be glad to help just let me know. Oh, bty you can just as easliy mout the ipod in the center bin but there is really reason to do this as attaching the integration unit plug to the ipod will disable the ipod's control wheel.

Ummm... Yeah, that's what I do right now. But for safety's sake I prefer the steering wheel controls to the iPod's wheel. Looks cleaner too, and it frees up a cupholder.

Yeah, thanks. I know all that.

I just need the install instructions for the Nissan iPod integration kit.

BTW; the iPod (even through the aux port) should sound much better than your radio.

Re: iPod Integration install instructions

If I plug my Ipod right into the AUX jack it should work correct? i know i have try this in the past and it didnt, maybe I used the wrong wire. Is there any specific wire to make this connection, this would save me $70 on the itrip from best buy...
let me know

You can get a cable from Radio Shack for $5, make sure its a stereo cable and not mono. Plug into AUX port and work fine for me, there are issues with 04 AUX port not loud enough, most people just solve that with a PIE inline amp.
