Factory 6-disc Changer Locked Up

I have a 04 titan and the other day when listining to some cd's during the cd change my cd player locked up, the display said to hit eject and when i did that it went straight to radio operation. Now when i try to use any of the cd controls it just beeps, load, eject, cd and button just beeps. After reading some threads from here seems like a battery disconnect fixes most issues, mine did not. Same symptoms as before.

Dealer offered no help, they said they don't work on the radios just take them out and ship them off to LA.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

If you are still under warranty, they should order you a new radio and just swap it out when you get there. That's what most other people here have had done with radio issues.

sorry to say, my warranty was out along time ago, i am about to run out of powertrain warranty. This is my primary vehicle and i travel quite a bit.

Ok after carefully disassebling the radio / cd player i believe i found the problem, one of the disc's was not aligned with the spindle it must have slip off, this would not allow the discs to be changed so the cd player just shut down. After re-installing it is a must to disconnect the battery (if not before removing the radio) to give time for the computer to reset. once everything connected back up. eject and played cd's as normal. I believe the root cause of the problem was a home made cd label, i noticed that it was bubbled quite a bit. I attached as photo of the spindle inside the cd player.
