please don't buy a cheap radar detector. If you're gonna buy one, get a good one. The cheap ones are crap. I have the Escort passport 8500 x50, and it's awesome. I paid $200 for it, but it's paid for itself many times already.
+1 on the radarbusters.com
Spend a couple hours reading all his stuff, and you can't go wrong.
but if you can afford $400 get a valentine 1. I have both and prefer V1. Mine is about a year old but I had the former V1 for 12 years. loved it. saved me a tone of tix.

You wrong boy look at this video, http://www.radarbusters.com/resource...blinder_3.html
owned. I respect you for what you do tho, i understand why most yall r so mean. i would be mean too if ever car i walked up to i could be shot.
I respect you
yea ok I watched your video pretty cool for the jammer, but you might piss off the cop who is tageting you. It doesnt work from behind after you pass unless you have a jammr inthe rear. I'm just giving you a hard time for some fun. I let most do over 15 the posted limit and depending on the area. That jammer might bring on more attention to you.

yo ecmeyla, is there a certain amount of time that the police officer has to have your speed? not to long ago I was going down i95, I was doing about 87mph on cruise, my radar went off saying laser, and it was too late, I seen the cop under the overpass, as soon as it went off I slammed brakes as soon as possible to 75mph, the cop didnt do anything.. I have the escort x50 also, its an awesome product its saved me too many times....just wondering becasue I deffinatly thought I was gonna get nailed that time...and I heard it has to be like a certain amount of seconds for them to give you a ticket...

By the time you and your detector realized you'd been painted, he already had you. With the huge frontal area our trucks have, you could easily be hit with laser and never even know it.

I have a Passport 8500, its done a really good job, but last night I got pulled over for the first time in five years last night, My Radar detector never went off, but the cop pulled me over and said I was doing 15 over the limit, I only got a warning. My guess is he never got me with radar or whatever he was running and couldn't actually write a ticket especially since he saw I had my radar detecter on.
