Lifting the back seat

Has anyone lifted the back seat of a CC? I'm looking to put in a sub enclosure under the seat and will need to raise it an inch or so. I would still like it to work normally and still have the structural integrity. What's the best way to do so?

Check out Tech12Volt... people seem to love his work on this.
