I have an 06 CC LE and was wondering if anyone is having problems with their heated seats. Even when I switch the button to high position the actual light on the switch stays on the low side (bottom). Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
I thought the same but after viewing more closely, there is only one light. The "white bars", one longer than the other, to my belief are simply to distinct low from high settings.
I can tell the difference in Temp from high to low....and I'm pretty sure that there are 2 separate lights (Top & Bottom) on that switch.....weird. I checked with a service advisor...they said it sounds like an electrical problem, and that I should bring it in.
I got an 06 LE too and my seats seem to go on intermittently and not a constant HIGH temp especially when its really cold. I read on this forum that they made them to do that, I don't know why. Also, mine takes awhile to heat up and get really hot.

mine heat the bottom, and the lower portion of my back, just up to the seam on the middle of the back... They will maintain a temp and are linked with the temp setting with your heat...If you put them on high and have your heat temp set on 80 deg they will be warm, but I notice if I crank up the heat to 90 deg, then the seat warmer will get warmer quickly....But they will shut off and come back on to stay near a temp, you wont see that on the light, you may be able to feel it though!!!

Per the tech manual there is only 1 light.

I don't remember the manual saying how many light but the picture in the manual clearly shows 2 lights. The button in the truck clearly only has 1 light on it also. I wonder if this was a change from older models.

I think your on to something....my baby rolled off the line in May of 06'....the buttom clearly has a short light bar (low) and a longer light bar (high)....I was going to take it in Monday, but figured I'd wait until the next oil change...my service advisor said there was 2 lights....I guess I'll have to wait to find out for sure.
Maybe as with most auto manufacturers the part (switch) is universal on all models with this option. I say this because we have a Quest and there are lights on both sides of the switch and it looks the same. I am not in the Van that much, but I think that is the case. (Now I am going to have to go look)
