New Dials??

I had my Titan in the shop the other day (oil change), and they gave me a altima for a loner car. As I was messing with everything I noticed that the dials looked a little cooler than what we have now, I was wondering if anyone has swapped theres out for a different models, or if this would even be possible. They did look like they were the same size. I have not called the parts dept. yet to find out the specs on them yet, but that is next on my list. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

Re: New Dials??

not all dealers are douch bags... you just have to find the right one... as far as working on your own car.. i have seen several cases where customers did there own service and need and engine item (engine itself replaced) and they had to show 2 recent oils change recipts..basically having it done buy a perfessional or a dealer, otherwise no warranty on there $10k motor.. just to let you know..it could happen (this was on a z/ sentra/ and altima not a titan)

Re: New Dials??

Good Question! I would love to have the dual zone climate the 06' LE has but I know thats seroius changes, but the new knobs would be cool at least

not everyone does there own oil change or has the time to do there own. Guess your one of the " special " people out there.

I am able to do my own oil change but I choose not to. I take it to the dealer, easier to pay $12 and have them do it. Also get a wash out of it.

Back to topic... I do like those dials as well on the temp controls. I have not checked out to see. I will be stopping by the dealer on the way home to check something out. I will inquire about these.

Re: New Dials??

I would assume that everyone who has the time to visit this site and browse, has time to change their own oil, as well I would hope everyone, whom owns a Titan could change their own oil, and if you are given something free and don't take it thats your choice.

Back to the temp. dials, I've called the parts guy, and he is getting the specs on both the altima, and titan's dials. I do know that we would have to use the 06' or older dials, I just have not found out about sizes yet. I will let you guys know when I do.
