Air Bag Light Flashing

I'VE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE AIR BAG LIGHT FLASHING ON MY GAUGE CLUSTER, AND THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG LIGHT WILL NOT GO OUT EVEN WITH AN ADULT SITTING IN IT, TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALER TWICE SO FAR, ONCE THEY SAID IT WAS A CENSOR, FIXED PROBLEM FOR 2 DAYS, SECOND TIME THEY SAID IT WAS THE SEAT BELT TENSIONER, FIXED PROBLEM FOR 2 DAYS, JUST HAPPENED AGAIN. ANYONE ELSE HAVING A PROBLEM LIKE THIS?:

STAY AWAY FROM THE DASH.... AIRBAGS COULD GO OFF AT ANYTIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just kidding, dunno, sounds to me like they arent fixing anything rather just clearing the codes and sending you on your way... i could be wrong.... get documentation of the visits... that will get their attention... if not then you still have docmentation so if this becomes an ongoing problem you have something to back it up... another thing i might do is go to another dealer and tell them the situation, they may try to win you over and your service work by treating you like they all should anyway.....

Had the same indication. If you have a king cab it is probably the wiring harness. There is a recall out for the wiring harness where it goes through the rear door. Look at the wiring in the rear passenger side door. If you have exposed wiring you will need the harness replaced. Major job-have to gut the entire interior. Mine goes in on Monday.

if there is something wrong with controll boxes - then the light would just stay on. Mine flashed when I broke the spiral cable in the steering wheel.
