Turn Signal removal

I just boughta a OEM fog light kit and I got a new turn signal lever with it and I need to take off my old one and put the new one on, anyone know how?

Yes, remove your clamshell cover from around your steering column after you remove your tilt knob by depressing the tab in the little round hole underneath then pull it off. After removing clamshell squeeze the upper and lower tabs on the switch and pull straight out. Then just slide the other one in till the tabs click into place. When you put the clamshell back it may be a little difficult to get it to snap back together. You might have to remove the lower driver panel and the cluster finisher to get the clamshell off and to get your hands around it to get it to snap together properly going back on with it.
Oh, I think the fog light option has to be turned on in the BCM(body control module), can't remember for sure off the top of my head.

Since you have it apart it would be an excelent time to do the Fog light mode that allows you to turn the foglights on without the lowbeams and keep them on with the highbeams.

All you need is a relay and some wire (I used like 22 ga to the stalk and 12 or14 for the lights)
