I finally installed this aux a/v conversion. I bought 3.5mm 4 conductor panel mount (for front aux) and an in-line 3.5mm conductor (back of unit). I just used a 3 rca to 3.5mm cable from HU to the inline (didn't want to solder to make permanent). What was difficult to find was the 3.5mm 4 conductor male to male cable. I have two on order if anyone local wants it for this conversion. I will take pics and posts as soon as my WHOLE system is done.

This would be way cool to have to, this way you would never have to leave your truck. Convert the huge middle storage box that holds the stock DvD player to a mini cooler for beers and you're good to go

Do you think you could use the stock visors with the aftermarket tvs. The aux mod is great. crazypete I have wanted to turn the middle console into a cooler from the second I looked at it.

i third the cooler idea. All you need is a little insulation and a drain tube out of the bottom of the truck.

its pretty easy just remove old aux port, skrew in new aux port then remove,add some little wire ext. pieces as shown to new aux port., skrew back in and connect wires to the old aux wires for audio and the NEW yellow wire to your tv video line. thats it put it back together. enjoy!!!

Why did you have to chnge it out? I have one for my Ipod with Video and plugs right in to the factory plug. Do you think that would work?
