What is the switch for on the lower center...

Does anyone know what the switch/button is for that is on the left of the "tow mode" button on the center dash cover?

The reason I ask is because I have an XE and it is not there, but there is a connector behind that cover that is wanting to be plugged into something.

E-locker on one side, VDC on the other.

Re: What is the switch for on the lower center...

Is the e-locker installed and just not used without the switch.. or is that something that needs to be added to the diff?

I'm pretty sure it is part of the diff... and maybe a part of the OEM carrier?

Re: What is the switch for on the lower center...

It is part of the 4x4 off road package (low gearing, locking diff and a few other things). It does not come with just the 4x4 models.

Re: What is the switch for on the lower center...

If I have the OR package, why don't I have the VDC switch?

Can't get VDC with OR pak.
I have used the E-locker. Cool technology.

Re: What is the switch for on the lower center...

Beats me, but VDC is not available with the E-locker.
You could come over and check it out if you want.
The Titan is going on a hunting party on Wednesday this week. 4wd and e-lock will likely see some use.

DO ALL THE TITANS HAVE THE E-LOCKER WITHOUT THE SWITCH OR DO YOU HAVE TO BUT THE E-LOCKER ITSELF
