Accessory switchs

Hey, does any one know if/how to use the OEM Accessory switchs that arent in use (the ones that have like the diff lock, and cargo light and stuff) for fog lights?

Re: Accessory switchs

The fog light switch for the Titan is built into the head light stalk if equipped. You can get a fog light switch from a Nissan Pathfinder that fit exactly into one of the extra switch hole.

Re: Accessory switchs

You can wire aftermarket foglights with a relay as shown here:

Electrical & Audio Information

The non-used oem switches are actually just plastic blanks (not switches). You can pop them out and drill them to mount aftermarket toggle switches. As mentioned above, it has been posted that a Pathfinder switch will fit the switch blank holes. The prior post listed part number 999F1-6E000 SW EXT KIT-TRUCK/PATHFINDER for the switch.

Re: Accessory switchs

You need the new buttons, the ones in there are dead switches with no wiring and no flexability to them for use...they aren't real switches.

Re: Accessory switchs

Sorry to bring up an old post but I wanted to know if anyone had pictures of the pathfinder switch installed. I wanted to see what it will look like on the Titan before I decide to order.

Thanks

Re: Accessory switchs

I have a question, I'm trying to wire up my fogs with the Pathfinder switch, but the problem i'm running into is that I'm running a 2 wire set up that work great with a generic illuminated switch but the pathfinder requires 3 wires, for the life of me I can't figure out how to get around ripping out my install and starting over. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The one extra wire is probably for the illumination light. Find the two wire that close the circuit and those two will replace the two you are using.
