I had the same problem with the seat in my XE, which has manual seats. Was wearing on the back of my right upper thigh a lot, gave me hip pointers. Took to the dealer, they replaced with a new one, same problem.
Took it upon myself to fix and tried several things, some too embarassing to mention...
Found it was the right side of the seat frame near the seat belt clip, where the frame turns up to form a ridge along the side. I pulled up the seat cover and padding, removed the seat bottom frame (4 bolts), cut out the right side of the seat frame with a side grinder - problem solved. Has been VERY comfortable since. I'm 6'2 and 240 lb, no more problems. Have a pic, but could not upload it. Basically, I cut out the "ridge" along the entire right side of the frame.
Cheaper than the alternative of buying a new truck. Hope this helps.
My 07 Titan has the most uncomfortable seats of any vehicle I've owned. It feels like I'm sitting on a mushroom . High in the center and low front and back. I'm 6'1" and 240 so I feel the lack of padding in the seats. The service manager agrees that he wouldn't want to take a trip in it, and is attempting to apease me with new covers,a little more padding and lip service. They have had it for 68 days today. They also banged up the front bumper and have not been able to get the paint to match. I wish I'd gone with the Chevy. With only 3,000 miles on it, I'm thinking "Lemon Law".

The seats in my titan are way more comfortable than my Dads Doge 3500! WAY WAY WAY more comfortable! Chevys do have nicer interiors IMO though. Titan is lacking there. I have wet oakly Seat covers on mine and they do add a little padding in them, not sure if it would help you or not though. Either way they are damn nice seat covers I don't agree that the titann seats are severly uncomfortable, they are the most comfortable out of MANY cars I have ridden in. I don't think the seat are supurb or anything, but I have sceen worse. My biggest issue is that they seem to wear out fast.
I really hope they are paying for your rental. Sounds like your dealership has some morons working there. I had a run in with mine (they clipped a car and it put a dent in the rearend). It was fixed and looking like new the next week. Color matches perfect. They handled it, and paid for my rental. 68 days is ridiculous I'd be calling represntation as well. Make them pay for a rental of a similar vehicle, that will get them to hurry up!

The service Mgr. just called and said that the upholsterer lowered the pan that runs across underneath the drivers seat and that it now feels great. (I'll be the judge of that.) I'm not sure how but as soon as they finish with the passenger side I'm going to check it out. That may be a fix for the uncomfortable seats in the Titans. Maybe Nissan should pay attention.

Larry....did it help? If so, try to detail what was done so I can duplicate. I have raised the front of my seat and it has helped, but could still improve a great deal.

Militarymorons.com has a review of a seat cushion that you may find interesting. The reviewer is a great guy and is a great standing member of the military and civilian community, so no need to worry about bias-ness.
I purchased one for my aunt a few months back and last time I've heard from her, she's lovin' it.

Damn I'd like to ride in some of the vehicles you guys that say the Titan seats are uncomfortable are used to sittin in! i'm 5'6" and pushin hefty 220lbs. My work truck is a '07 Freigtliner (air-adjustable seats), and while they are better than most of the seats of our work trucks, they still give me a PITA after too much sittin. My bosses '05 Ford F350 is uncomfortable. My Titan is always a relief to sit in! Only after long drives I complain, but its mostly just needin to stretch my legs out! I love my Titan! It's an '05 SE King Cab, with power seats. 48k miles.
Good luck with your problems. Bein uncomfortable in a vehicle is hell!

How did you do this? I am 6'0" tall, and I find the angle of the seat is all wrong. My tailbone needs to be lower, and my knees need to be higher. I do not have the power seats and would love to be able to tilt the bottom of the seat differently. Thanks!!

I Have an 07 LE with leather and all power. I am 6'3" 220 lbs and I love the seats. They feel like a recliner. You guys must be talking about the bench cloth seats. I am now driving an 08 GMC Acadia as a rental while my wrecked Titan is getting fixed. Talk about hard uncomfortable seats, WOW! The GMC is aweful. Cheap, horrible fit and finish interior. Weather seals leaking on driver door with less than 9k miles. Driver window does not work half the time. Engine sounds like crap. It revs way too high, no power and is a horrible motor. I miss my Titan soooooooooo much. After driving this Acadia, I know why I have never bought a GM product.
Spend a few hundred on some sheep skin seat covers. I did it a few years ago, and they are great. They are warm in the winter (compared to cold leather), and actually cooler in the summer since they let air circulate under your butt. I'm 6'1" and 225 lbs and really like the seats....
