So Moleskin and 15% to match the rears...I think its about time I had this done Anybody know of any shops in northern Calif that do good work and use the best materials ?

The edge of the window should have tight borders and not a huge gap. i prefer to file my edges but most shops do not . I only do about 10 cars a year now for friends and family. . i taught my wife to tint when we had a shop in atlanta and really do not care to do anymore.

i paid nothing to get 5% all around

but i was quoted anywhere from 180 to 260 for all windows

the back windows are 18%. i have 5% on rears, sides, 12" strip. i also have 20% on my whole windshield. paid 180 for all. if there is anyone in LV that needs theres done let me know and i can hook you up

You can buy the Llumar on eBay. I paid $19 for the tint and the installation kit.

i tinted my civic and it looked like someone took a big crap as smeared it on my windows. i will not attempt that again is time to let someone who know what they are doing tint and hopefully get warrenty with it...

Haha, that gave me a good laugh.... i will never attempt to do my own, i see too many people do it and end up screwing it up.. plus i like the lifetime warranty.

Well whenever i got pulled over he put this meter thing on my window that measured out the tint %. So if i were you i'd roll down my windows if i see a cop.

mine was 120$, the guy came to my house and i got 5% all around and a 14" sun shade in the front.... on dark nights its a pain, but i dont think i would ever go lighter...

i also installed the moleskin to prevent scratches... that took a while, but is worth it in the end.

you trim the tint at 45deg on the edges to prevent peeling, you don't file the widows unless they have factory issues.
