triple guage pillar

Hey I don't kn ow if ya'll have already discussed this thread or notor even if someone came out with one but I am almost done fiberglassing a triple gauge pillar when my friend told me i should try and make a mold of it and put it out on the market. How many of ya'll would be interested in something like this? the mold wouldn't be ready for another couple months cuase i have a few car shows i need to go to and have to finish mine this week so I am kind of pressed for time. I looked around for a pillar but couldn't find one, if there is one thats out sweet deal and it sucks i put all that time into it but cool stuff.

Re: triple guage pillar

I have seen a few thread of peoples asking about pillar gauge holder. I'm sure you'll get some business. Most peoples tend to wait and see a final products before jumping on it. Maybe once done and you post pictures I'm sure you'll get better feedbacks.

Re: triple guage pillar

i checked his photos, here's a mock up of his cluster

http://www.titantalk.com/gallery/sho...00&ppuser=7396

it only shows the back though...

i don't have enough juice in the truck to warrant additional guaging, although if i start towing it might be a nice place for a trans temp gauge, and if i'm super lucky maybe my psi indicator for air bags

one thing is for sure, we have plenty of A pilar!

Re: triple guage pillar

I would be interested, but not sure which three gauges I would want. I know a tranny temp gauge for sure, but no clue on the other two, what three are you going to use?

Re: triple guage pillar

well its just a thought, here is a photo i took last night after applying some filler still have a long way to go. The back would be open if i decided to mold them so you would slip it over your stock a piller and pop rivite it into place.

i was just curious, but i will post some pics this week when i paint it.

Re: triple guage pillar

not to sure on what i would charge to do this again, its a tedious and time consuming job. I started with your normal universal pillar and cut it close to size, fiberglassed, used poly fill and now a light filler so its a lot of steps and i take my time on it. ima try and finish this week so i will think about it.

Natalie
here are a few pics of the test fit which wasn't bad
