Help with overhead console compartment

I removed the overhead compartment closest to the map lights. Now I have a spring loose that I'm not sure which side it came from and how it was positioned?

All help is appreciated.

Re: Help with overhead console compartment

Did you fix this? If not I think I can help. Just had the whole assembly out for radar install and had to put it back.

First picture show how the spring should sit.
Second picture show where the top of the spring should be rested at once installed.

LOL I did not realized the OP's question was from 2007.
Hope it help someone else anyway.
