wear marks on steering column...help

tried to search threads but couldn't find much...

can anyone tell me if there is a way to repair the silver finish by the speed cntrol buttons on the steering column ? some of the finish is wearing off....

please let me know... u da best...

I remember this being a problem for some people and they bought replacement parts and I think covered them with some paint sealant or clear nail polish.

Picking the titan up on thursday!! so yes i did buy the titan!! they are going to replace the control piece w the sliver trim on it...

Mine's doing the same since 40000km. Oh well. Stuff wears out. I suppose I could go to the stealership and ***** about it but it's hardly worth the trouble.

I still have 4 unused free oilchange coupons but it's such a hassle to go there they'll never get used.
