Katzkin leather interior?

So I can get Katzkin leather installed in my XE C/C for $895 installed (professionally) front and rear. Should I do it or no? The car we got rid of for the Titan had leather and it was a blessing with messy kids. Opinions?

Re: Katzkin leather interior?

That's what I plan to do when this junk OEM 'pleather' on my LE bites the dust. Giver it's poor quality, I suspect it wil only last 3 or 4 years.

Re: Katzkin leather interior?

Let's say a person has the cheezeball LE leather right now. At some time in the future if that person decides to upgrade to a set of Katzkin's, is it a big issue to keep the heated seat function? I guess what I'm asking is, are the heating elements a separate assembly from the OEM seat covers, or are they some how integrated in?

Sorry, not trying to highjack, and from my past experience pricing Katzkins, I'd say the price you were quoted sounds great! Go for it!

$895 installed? I would jump on it if I were you. I just had my C/C done for $1200 installed. I went with graphite color with perforated centers and it looks beautiful. The Katzkin "graphite" color is the perfect match to the factory seat and door trim.

I work at a Nissan dealer (obviously) so that price is $100 less than what they charge the dealer. I just gotta pick the right color now.

Re: Katzkin leather interior?

No thinking about it, just get it done. I've never heard anyone complain about theirs after they got it done with Katzkin, and especially at your price.

you can still utilize the stock seat heaters if it was already equiped...Katzkin has so many different pattern for each vehicle, they normally cover all the bases.

and for the $895 I'd do it in a heart beat...good deal even for dealer price.

Re: Katzkin leather interior?

I would do it for that price. I want leather as the cloth seats in my 05 is showing sign of stains and such.
