Extra Cup Holder in 08 Titan?

So I noticed today that I seem to have an extra set of cup holders in the center console. It is for the ones to the right of the shifter. At first I thought it was an insert for smaller cups but it is the same size as the ones underneath. It technically fits in the cubby just forward of the armrest compartment but doesn't fit nicely so I am assuming it doesn't go there. Is it an extra I shouldn't have gotten or is it an insert for easy cleaning? Anyone else?

o i thought you just took it out for easy cleaning or to fit bigger cups

yeah i thought it was just for bigger cups, not much bigger though. are you talking about the little tab that folds out inside the cubby? ill have to look at it later

I am talking about the double cup holder under the cover to the right of the shifter. I have a set of cup holders that I can remove.

yea those are the ones im talking about i just figured if you had big cups you take out the insert and you have bigger cup holders underneath and it would make it easier to clean.

Hmm - I have the cup holders to the right of the shifters but nothing else in that compartment.

Same here. No additional "smaller" sized cup holders came with my 08.

I know you can pull the cup holders out to clean (the ones with the lid), but never noticed bigger ones underneath. I'm going to check that in a few minutes when I leave.

I don't think they are they different in size. I am assuming like it has been mentioned, that it comes out for cleaning though.
