Cracks in vinyl arm rest

Well after four years of daily use the vinyl where I rest my right elbow is cracking. Its in an 04 KC that has the armrest that filps up to make a middle seat. Does anyone know if this is something that can be repaired or replaced? Also is it a DIY job or do I need to leave it up to the pros? Considering the amount of use I've gotten out of this truck this is the only eyesore I've got and would like to remedy it. Plus its scratching my elbow

There are kits available to repair viynl I saw one at wal-mart.
can't be outragious for an upolstery shop to lay some new pleather on there either though if the repair kit doesn't work out.

Dont try the repair kit, I tried that on my truck and now its cracked in the same place but bigger and its a different shade of color. I think I am just going to have to go get it done somewhere professionally.

They may have a "slightly used" console / lid to replace yours (provided the color matches up). The upolstery shop still might be cheaper though.

Go to www.wetokole.com and get your truck some nice seat covers. The front set comes with cover for the arm rest and for the entire center console. Well worth the money.
