removing radio bezel

I just purchased a new 2008.5 LE and would like to remove the radio bezel in order to run a wire for the remote head on my amateur radio. On my 04 Titan I simple pulled straight out on the top to get it to unclip. I find that on this newer model I can not get hold of it with my finger nails to get it to unclip. Is this a new design or what would you suggest I do to remove it? Thanks.

Still held in by clips, just more of them.

Re: removing radio bezel

Slide a thin piece of metal like a butter knife or scraper in and pry it up. It pops right out, but be careful not to scratch anything.

Re: removing radio bezel

I've found special tools that are rubber coated to get under there. Wont scratch or mar the plastic. You can find them at Harbor freight.
