Just thought i would post some pictures of the new safe that i put under my seat. Safe only cost me 75.00 from a buddy's shop and then i just bolted it to the floor board. It fits perfect under there, only down fall is i have to move the seat forward a little to open the safe due to the fact that the combination part is on the top of the safe.

It looks like one of those finger digit (blind) operated, spring opened gun safes. Too bad it can not be reached by the driver while in the driver's seat. I like it except I have my blue tooth under my driver's seat and my HD radio under the passenger seat.

That's a pretty sweet idea. I may have to look into doing that. It would be a nice place to transport my handgun (with all appropriate licenses of course) when I travel, and not have to worry about the usual large case taking up space or sliding around. What brand safe is that?

that can be pried with a screwdriver in 5 seconds..... when my truck was broken into they looked under the seats first..
questions:
a) the safe can be pried open, or the bolts can be pried off the floor pan?
I have the same safe, and I honestly don't feel you could break it open with a screwdriver if you were hercules. It's solid. I'm assuming you wouldn't be strong enough to rip the bolts out of the floorpan either.
b) how do you know where they looked first?

Are under seat safes a common thing if I go to a real locksmith shop? We have a big one nearby.
Looks nice, just didn't know we could add anything to our Titans for less than several hundred dollars. lol.
This is actually a house gun safe, my buddy owns a gun shop and i took it out the store to see if it would fit under the seat obviously it did so i bought it and bolted it down. I will let everyone know the make and model of it when i get home from work. If anyone is interested in it I could probably talk to my buddy and see about doing a group buy discount to whom ever would want one. Just let me know if anyone is interested and i will talk to him.
Actually i have just been keeping my flash drives and what not in there. It actually came in real handy last night, i am getting married tommorow so a friend of mine is the GM at a high end jewerly store and she is letting me borrow a necklace and earings for my fiance, now the necklace alone was 120,000 and the earings were 24,000. Now i walking out the store with almost 150,000 in jewelry and a off duty cop who is probably wondering who the hell is this guy, we get to my truck and i automatically put the jewerly in the safe and the cop was amazed that i actually had a safe in my truck and started to hint around like "what do you do for a living" but had to let him know that no way could i actually afford this stuff but i was borrowing it. He actually wanted me to pick the safe up for him and when i return to the store to drop the jewerly off he would pay me for the safe cause he wanted to put it in his vehicle.
