Re: P/N for AC knobs?

What do you mean by ruined?

A few years ago my Fan speed knob broke..I could turn the knob but the fan speed would not change. So I looked into replaceing the knob, and was told I had to buy the complete A/C Controls unit...@ some crazy price..(I dont remember what it was). So I took the knob apart and noticed that the clear plastic cross bar behind the knob (that connects to the center spindle) was cracked causing the knob to turn but not make contact with the adjustment spindle. So I pulled out the Crazy glue and glued the broke plastic piece and reinstalled it...haven't had a problem since.

Hope this helps.

Which one is the fan control for a 2004? Like you scottsbro23, I broke the same part. They told me $325 for the whole assembly. Damn stealership!!!

LOL! I meant which one on that URL is the right part. There are 4 different items and 3 different prices. I'm gonna guess it's the $7 part.
