Anyone have any pics. of there Scangauge 2 mounted with the blend mount? I tried to install mine today on top of the mirror and the bracked hits the windshield. It looks to me that the stub needs to be removed from the clamp, but i do not want to break the clamp if the stub does not unscrew from it.
Here's the best pic I have for now, I'll try to get a better angled pic later on...

You should be able to find a bunch a pics doing a search on this. More than a few members have mounted theirs in the same location. I seem to remember their being an issue with the mounting brackets that someone mentioned before.

did you get the right bracket with your kit? It is the smaller one for the 04 and 05's. Then you need to lower the rear view mirror a bit. I will try to dig up my pics.

Does the blendmount adapter have a universal or don't you have to do the "nickel" sizing deal????
THE NICKEL TEST
Round Rear View Mirror linkages are either 3/4" or 7/8" in diameter. All vehicles 2004 and older will have the 3/4" diameter linkage. All vehicles 2005 and newer may have the 7/8" diameter linkage and need to do the Nickel Test to determine the diameter.

that nickel test was about half worthless when I checked it. My 05 used the 3/4 adaptor. The 05's are on the cusp so some have 3/4 and some have 7/8.

I like that, question it says the included cable in the package is 6' long, the mount that has it near the sunglasses holder, where is the wire run?
